DIMEX – 20 years on the market of express deliveries

The company DIMEX was established 20 years ago in Rostov-on-Don and nowadays it is one of the greatest operators of express delivery in Russia.

The main direction of the company’s activity is express delivery of correspondence and cargos in Russia, the Customs Union, near-and far-abroad countries.

Nowadays, there are the company’s offices located in Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Ukraine, Abkhazia, Estonia, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova and Georgia. DIMEX – is a net embracing more than 100 own offices and more than 1000 representative offices.

Historical notes

Having started its activity in 1998, the company DIMEX provided services on the markets of Rostov-on-Don and Rostov region. The decision about establishing of the own regional net and trade mark registration was made in 1999.

For the period dated from 1999 as for 2006 there were opened 40 regional offices countrywide, in April, 2007 the company DIMEX entered the Ukrainian market of express deliveries, offices in Kyiv and Odesa were opened. The company’s international development continued with the opening of offices in Belarus (2007), Kazakhstan (2008), Abkhazia (2011), Estonia (2013), Armenia (2015), Kyrgyzstan (2016), Moldova (2016), and representative offices in Georgia (2017). To maintain the quality of the provided services, the company DIMEX has its own logistics center “DIMEX Corporate” in Moscow.

Following the market’s necessities, the company has developed different types of provided services. Well-functioning logistics system allowed DIMEX to develop the direction of “efficient cargo delivery” successfully. Moreover, there segregated a separate direction of activity, namely, “direct mail”. Direct mail services are becoming popular on the market. With the development of the Internet trading, the delivery for Internet shops has become a much-in-demand service.
